🏡 Considering selling your home can be one of the most stressful times of your life. The advice you receive from the start can have a large impact on your potential outcome.
With local knowledge, top-tier marketing skills, and a personalised, one-to-one service from start to finish, Gabby is here to provide honest sales advice to your local area.
We recently caught up with Gabby to hear more about why Gabby chose to go down the career path chosen.
Gabby: “When I tell people I left a secure job in new home sales to go it alone as a self-employed estate agent, the response is usually the same: “That’s brave!” And yes, it was. But truthfully? It was necessary.
Having worked in the new homes sector, supporting buyers through what should have been one of the most exciting chapters of their lives. But time and time again, I saw how the experience was let down—not by the homes themselves, but by the process. By the agents. By the systems.”
👇🏼 The Breaking Point
“There’s only so many times you can hear a buyer say, “No one’s got back to me,” or see a beautiful home listed with dull, uninspired marketing before you start to feel it in your gut: This isn’t how it should be.
I watched families feel lost in the process, sellers left in the dark, and stunning properties being let down by lazy photos and outdated templated descriptions. Communication was reactive, not proactive. And the personal touch? Almost non-existent with clients being passed from pillar to post. I started to realise that, while I was doing my best within my role, I was still limited. And that didn’t sit right with me.
👇🏼 Why I Made the Change
I knew I could offer more. I knew clients deserved more.
👉 More attention.
👉 More honesty.
👉 More care.
Having an understanding of my values, it was then important to find a brokerage which aligned with these values and could provide the support necessary to maximise on the service and results I can help generate for my clients. Fortunately I knew of RedRoots Property who are a forward thinking, modern Estate Agents with two Doncaster-born Directors, Stephen and Matthew at the helm that actually stood for something different. A brokerage that gave me the freedom to build my business around values I believe in: communication, accountability, high standards and heart.
Because here’s the thing: this job is personal. Behind every move is a story. A growing family, a new chapter, a difficult goodbye. It’s not just about bricks and mortar—it’s about people. And people deserve to feel heard, respected, and looked after.”
👇🏼 Starting My Own Business Wasn’t Easy—But It Was Right
There were moments of doubt. Leaving behind a guaranteed salary, stepping into the unknown—it’s scary. But I knew deep down I could create something better for my clients. I could be the agent who called back. The one who showed up, who took pride in every home I brought to market, the one who didn’t just see a number on a board, but a person with hopes and expectations.
Since making the leap, I haven’t looked back. I’m proud of the service I offer now. I take the time to understand each client’s unique journey, tailor every marketing plan to showcase their home properly, and communicate—really communicate—throughout.
‘My ‘Why’ Is Simple: People Deserve Better’
I didn’t start this business because I thought it would be easy. I started it because I believe people deserve a better moving experience and knew that I was willing to put the work in to accommodate. One that feels exciting, not stressful. One where you feel guided, not ghosted.
If you’re thinking about selling your home—or just want to speak to someone who genuinely cares—my door is always open and my phone is right on hand, every step of the way.
