What the RedRoots Team Got Up to in August ✈️☀️

August was one of those months where it felt like the whole team scattered in every direction at once, holidays, celebrations, house moves, and even an engagement. Here's a look back at what everyone's been up to 🥳💍

Holidays Galore

The summer sun clearly called, because half the team packed their bags this month. Laura headed off on holiday to Spain and also enjoyed a day out at York Races with Michael. Ben got some quality time in with his boys on a four-night getaway. Rhianne escaped with her partner and their dogs for a holiday, and also squeezed in a wedding. Gemma also jetted off to Greece with her family, enjoying the local food and sunshine.

Matt took the family to Northumberland, staying near Bamburgh Castle, and managed to sneak in an evening swim at Lake Y in Auckley, Doncaster on the Friday, followed by pizza, a pint, and live music with the Real Fitness crew. Sounds like the perfect end to the week.

Not to be outdone, George pulled off a cheeky last-minute family trip to Cyprus.

Big Life Moments

It wasn't just holidays making headlines this month. Sarah bought a house - congratulations, Sarah!

And Becca had an incredible August: she got engaged, saw Luke Combs live, and celebrated her little girl turning four. A month to remember for sure.

Stephen Turns 30

Stephen had quite the birthday month. He kept up his running with a couple of local parkruns, then turned 30, and the team surprised him with a get-together to celebrate. He also treated himself and partner Zoe to a relaxing stay at Rudding Spa to mark the milestone properly.

That's a Wrap on August

Between holidays, celebrations, and life milestones, it's safe to say the Redroots team made the most of the summer. Here's to whatever September has in store!

1,667 homes for sale, 262 sales agreed, and the widest asking-to-agreed gap in six years... here's what it means for you.

Wakefield's July data reads like a contradiction until you look closely. The district listed more homes than in any July of the last six years, reduced the price on more homes than in any July of the last six years, and still managed to agree fewer sales than last year. Yet the prices those sales achieved climbed by more than nine per cent.
