August was one of those months where it felt like the whole team scattered in every direction at once, holidays, celebrations, house moves, and even an engagement. Here's a look back at what everyone's been up to 🥳💍
While most of Yorkshire drowned in stock this July, Huddersfield went the other way. There were 861 homes for sale at the end of the month, down 8.3% on last year — genuinely unusual when national supply is sitting near a 12-year high.
Wakefield's July data reads like a contradiction until you look closely. The district listed more homes than in any July of the last six years, reduced the price on more homes than in any July of the last six years, and still managed to agree fewer sales than last year. Yet the prices those sales achieved climbed by more than nine per cent.
